
IT and e-services development plan codified in fifth development plan has been approved by IT management work group.
PR of the Ministry of ICT- Reza Taghipour in forth national ICT meeting said: "According to the plan and till the end of fifth development plan, 20 percent of internal trade and 30 percent of foreign trade must have done electronically"."Till the end of 1387 (2009 March) e-exchange rate was about $1million, that is, three tenth of GNP", he added, "whereas e-commerce portion in the world is $8,104 billion and it shows we are in the first steps and there are so many works to do".
The minister of ICT pointed that the most important consequences of information blowup age is a deep evolution in management methods.
He restated that in our country, regarding to the implemented moves started earlier, e-services development in all fields is one of necessities paid attention by tenth government.
Therefore during the last months and by an intellectual collaboration of the elites in this area, some documents have been prepared and codified and making swift the justice-oriented government by IT development has been considered as one of the main goals of this field.
Reza Taghipour referred to the main subjects and said: "e-government, e-commerce, e-banking, e-healthy, e-welfare, as well as Iranian-Islamic culture development in the virtual space are some of defined priorities in this field".
Pointing to the implemented extensive moves in e-commerce, he said: "It's expected that e-commerce causes the most low-cost, fast, and the most beneficial methods for trading. E-commerce is one of the most important areas to make new job opportunities".
Raising the level of social welfare, facilitating and accelerating global information access as well as omitting unnecessary brokers are the advantages of utilizing e-commerce.
Reza Taghipour reminded: "Increasing the level of broad band penetration rate is the top line for utilizing scientific and research centers such as universities".
